Kroger bids farewell to San Antonio after less than two years

SAN ANTONIO - The grocery store, Kroger is now leaving San Antonio after only being in operation in the city for less than two years.

The company said that it's closing its facility on May 25.

Representatives with the company say there wasn't enough advertisement to have customers use their service.

They also shared that Kroger was facing off with H-E-B and Walmart, both of which also deliver and have curbside.

Those who have memberships to Kroger will receive a refund.
