Battle In The Heart Of Tokyo With The Launch Of "Operation Sunstorm" Coming To Free-To-Play Shooter World War 3

Original source (on modern site)

Operation Sunstorm will be launching in free-to-play tactical first-person shooter World War 3 on March 30 for PC. This update marks the beginning of Season 2 and brings two additional maps, new weapons, gear, strikes, and an all-new 20v20 game mode called FUBAR.

Set in the heart of Japan, Operation Sunstorm brings World War 3 to an urban setting with shopping strips, narrow alleyways, and side streets of Tokyo. Players can face off by fighting on foot, driving tanks and other vehicles, utilizing drones to survey the battlefield, and calling in tactical strikes.

The new FUBAR game mode features two 20-man teams battling it out on an infantry-focused map with limited vehicles and is now a permanent addition to World War 3.

The new trailer below shows off some of the action you can expect in the Operation Sunstorm update to World War 3.
