KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Memorial Day travelers in our area are going to have to fight higher gas prices this weekend.

The average price for a gallon of regular is going for about $3.63 in Kalamazoo County, according to GasBuddy.

That average is pretty consistent across the entire state. Hillsdale, Ogemaw, and Roscommon counties are a few places where drivers are paying less, GasBuddy said.

Michigan drivers are paying slightly more than the national average of $3.55, but here's a bit of good news.

One station in Watervliet is selling gas for $3.07, that's the cheapest gallon in the entire state, according to GasBuddy.
