The woman had people baffled when she said that we all are living in a parallel universe and backed her idea with the Quantum Immortality theory.

No one is well-equipped with the concept of death and no one can truly explain what happens during and after death. While many people believe that death brings peace, there is no concrete evidence about the happenings and state one gets into. A woman named Joli (@joli.artist) brought out a new perspective on the idea with some theoretical backing and it has people mind-boggled. "If you think that the world's end is going to bring you sweet relief, I'm sorry to burst your bubble," she said.

Joli introduced the concept of "quantum immortality and Hugh Everett's many-world interpretation." Defining the same, Joli said, "Quantum immortality theory states that no one really dies and consciousness never experiences death." Joli added that when a person dies in one universe, their consciousness gets transferred into a parallel universe where the person survives. The woman then mentioned that people are right to be anxious and excited about the end of the world if the quantum immortality theory is true. "If the quantum immortality theory is correct, you're going to wake up in a parallel universe with no recollection that you survived an apocalyptic event," Joli explained.

However, she mentioned that there is something called the "Mandela effect" which can hint that a person has gone through said experience. Sharing an example, Joli said, "After the inevitable apocalypse takes place, you're going to wake up in a new reality and find yourself arguing on Reddit as to when 'Pizza Hutt' got 2 Ts." She then explained that others will constantly argue that the latter was always the case leaving the person slightly astounded. Joli then stressed the fact that in reality, apocalypses happen every day. "It's been approximately 65 million years since the steroids took out the dinosaurs. So you're trying to tell me that since 65 million years no asteroids have come through?" Joli asked.

She added that it was unlikely that the world had "dodged" asteroids in space and avoided super disasters for so many years. She then suggested another rather unusual conclusion. She said, "Earth doesn't have a steering wheel so what I'm saying is that Earth is constantly getting taken out and our consciousness is just shifting into parallel universes." She concluded by saying, "The apocalypse probably happened last night and you just woke up to a new reality." People were baffled by Joli's theory and had mixed feelings about the same. @local_conjuror said, "Is this why I constantly have dreams about the world ending?"

@itstimiduhhh said, "I've had this thought for quite some time but I never knew it was a theory, this is quite interesting." @fudo_akio said, "Wait if that's true how come we remember our childhood and friends?" @destinyfatebeyond said, "But why haven't our consciousness evolved collectively to be able to remember our past lives?" @robert_maudsley said, "I've always believed this. That our consciousness or soul lives on. It may get transferred to a parallel universe or the same one."
