Cancer expert lists everything she avoids to reduce risk of disease

A registered dietician who specialises in oncology explains the food and drink she avoids to reduce the risk of cancer. Nichole Andrews regularly shares advice about food and its relationship to cancer.

Nichole has been working with cancer survivors for over a decade. In a video posted to her Instagram account, Nichole claims there are ten things she wouldn't do or eat in an effort to reduce risk of cancer.

In the "2024 edition" of the list, Nichole explained she wouldn't replace fresh fruit and vegetables with green powders. She also avoids buying organic produce, refuses to go on a ketogenic or low carb diet, and even forgoes drinking alcohol. She also recommended avoiding eating processed meats.

Nichole's video has been viewed over a massive 102,000 times. Other foods that have been found to help lower the risk of cancer include various berries, grapes, broccoli and tomatoes, to name a few.
