Even the people closest to her are blown away by Caitlin Clark's greatness.

After the 22-year-old Iowa Hawkeyes star's 41-point performance in Monday's victory over the LSU Tigers, Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, celebrated her on his Instagram Stories.

McCaffery, 25, shared ESPN's graphic of Clark's stats from the game, including her seven rebounds, nine three-point makes and 12 assists on the night.

"Out of words for this 1," McCaffery wrote in his story, tagging Clark and adding a yellow heart and a hand-heart emoji.

Clark's record-breaking game helped lead her team to their second straight Final Four in the NCAA Tournament as the Hawkeyes look to win the title. Last year, Iowa met the LSU Tigers in the championship game, but ultimately, the Hawkeyes fell to the Angel Reese-led team.

McCaffery, a former Iowa Hawkeye basketball player, and Clark have been public about their romance since August 2023.

The leading scorer in NCAA history, Clark shared the first photos of her and McCaffery together in an Instagram post captioned, "Best end to summer," as the couple cozied up to one another on a boat.

During his time with the Hawkeyes, McCaffery was named a five-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, three-time NABC Honors Court, two-time Academic All-District First Team, two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and NABC Honors Court honoree, according to Hawkeye Sports.

After graduating from the University of Iowa with bachelor's degrees in political science and finance in May 2023, McCaffery landed a job with the NBA's Indiana Pacers team.

Coincidentally, Clark is expected to go first overall in this month's WNBA Draft, which would land her in Indiana with the Fever — and not far away from McCaffery!

He currently works as a team assistant in an "all-hands on deck" role for the Pacers, he told the Des Moines Register. "I'll play dummy defense, run the scout team, help coaches on film stuff, help on video projects if they need, scouting reports if they need," McCaffery explained. "Whatever you're asked to do, be ready to do it."

In January, McCaffery posted a tribute to Clark as she celebrated her 22nd birthday — which is also her jersey number.

"Happy Birthday 22. Wish I was there to celebrate with you — you deserve the best day. Golden Bday/T Swift year will be the best yet," he wrote.

"With all that you've already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you."

On Friday, Clark and the Hawkeyes will take on Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies in the national semifinals.
