Detroit Lions win over Green Bay Packers would net bettor $736,959 on 16-team NFL parlay

The Detroit Lions could help one bettor win $736,959 on a $25 16-team NFL parlay. They only have to beat the Green Bay Packers and reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers on Monday Night Football from Lambeau Field.

BetMGM reports the final leg of the 16-team parlay is a Lions moneyline win against the Packers. The Lions have lost four straight to the Packers, including 27 of the last 30 played at Lambeau Field. Detroit heads into Monday night's game considered between 11- and 12-point underdogs from most oddsmakers, with +400 odds on the moneyline in this one.

The bettor successfully picked Washington, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Buffalo, New England, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Carolina, Denver, Arizona, Tampa Bay, Dallas, Tennessee and Baltimore in Week 2.

The Lions and Packers each enter this contest at 0-1 after rough starts to the season. Detroit lost 41-33 to the 49ers despite a frantic second-half comeback to make things interesting. Green Bay was lifeless against the Saints, losing 38-3, representing the team's most lopsided loss with Rodgers starting under center.

Rodgers struggled last week, turning in one of if not the worst start of his career, but draws an inexperienced and banged-up Lions secondary. Jeff Okudah suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last week, pushing third-round rookie Ifeatu Melifonwu into the lineup sooner than expected. Melifonwu is expected to see increased reps on the other side of Amani Oruwariye, with undrafted rookie A.J. Parker in the slot. The Lions will also be without top receiver Tyrell Williams and defensive tackle Kevin Strong.

"Welcome to the NFL as a rookie corner," Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn said. "I would say that it doesn't matter who you are, where you were drafted, where you came from. I think every quarterback and every offensive coordinator is going to try a rookie DB. It's all about playing that position, you know? I think (Melifonwu) expects it. We expect it. He's been having good practices, he had a good training camp, and look forward to seeing the player play."
