The Georgia Bulldogs face a gritty, tough 2024 college football season schedule with 10 Power Five opponents. The Bulldogs have the most challenging road schedule in the country with trips to Ole Miss, Alabama and Texas.

According to BetMGM, Georgia is the preseason national championship favorites (plus-350). However, Georgia has road trips to three of the six teams with the best national championship odds. We don't predict Georgia will make it unscathed through road trips to Texas (plus-750), Alabama (plus-800) and Ole Miss (plus-1,100).

Georgia will have a larger margin of error in the expanded College Football Playoff era, so the Dawgs don't have to go undefeated against this challenging schedule to make the playoff. We like what Georgia has in quarterback Carson Beck and who the Bulldogs return along the offensive and defensive trenches.

Let's take a look at Georgia's 2024 season schedule with way-too-early predictions.

Week 1 vs. Clemson Tigers (Atlanta, Georgia)

David Yeazell-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Georgia's defense is going to give Clemson's offense fits, while the Bulldog offense should produce points against a strong Clemson defense. Will Georgia running back Trevor Etienne play in the season opener in Atlanta? Georgia should be too much for a Clemson team that has not looked sharp the past couple of seasons.

Score prediction: Georgia 38, Clemson 16

Georgia's record: 1-0

Week 2 vs. Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Georgia starts slowly against a Football Championship Subdivision opponent, Tennessee Tech. However, the Bulldogs have way too much talent for this one to be close, and the Bulldogs open a massive lead in the second quarter. All of Georgia's starters are out of the game in the third quarter.

Score prediction: Georgia 56, Tennessee Tech 7

Georgia's record: 2-0

Week 3 at Kentucky Wildcats

What's going to happen: Kentucky is fired up after Georgia embarrassed the Wildcats in 2023. Former quarterback Brock Vandagriff scores once on the ground and once through the air as Kentucky keeps it close, but is never within one score in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats and Dawgs always play in physical games.

Score prediction: Georgia 27, Kentucky 14

Georgia's record: 3-0

Week 4: Bye week

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia has its first bye week of the season ahead of the Alabama game. Georgia is beat up after the Kentucky game, but gets time to heal ahead of another tough SEC road game.

Week 5 at Alabama Crimson Tide

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Alabama hosts Georgia for the second time in a row in the regular season. The Crimson Tide and Georgia are both ranked in the top five for this one. Carson Beck and the Georgia offense start hot and stay hot. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe buys time against the Georgia defense, but can't put together a game-winning drive as Georgia wins a shootout.

Score prediction: Georgia 38, Alabama 34

Georgia's record: 4-0

Week 6 vs. Auburn Tigers

The Montgomery Advertiser

What's going to happen: Georgia does not repeat its narrow win at Auburn in 2023. The Bulldogs overwhelm Auburn quarterback Payton Thorne as Georgia continues its dominance of the Tigers. Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze calls out his offense after the performance.

Score prediction: Georgia 41, Auburn 13

Georgia's record: 5-0

Week 7 vs. Mississippi State

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: The better Bulldogs win again. Georgia stifles Mississippi State's offense, which struggled in 2023. Outside linebacker Mykel Williams records a pair of sacks in Georgia's dominant home win over Mississippi State.

Score prediction: Georgia 38, Mississippi State 10

Georgia's record: 6-0

Week 8 at Texas Longhorns

Austin American-Statesman

What's going to happen: Texas is fired up to host Georgia, which is ranked No. 1. The Longhorns are emotionally spent after defeating Oklahoma the week before, but rally in the second half behind a big three touchdown day from quarterback Quinn Ewers and Alabama transfer Isaiah Bond. At least Bevo keeps a respectful distance from Uga this time.

Score prediction: Texas 27, Georgia 23

Georgia's record: 6-1

Week 9: Bye week

Online Athens

Georgia rests up in its second bye week after losing in the regular season for the first time since 2020. The Bulldogs prepare a good game plan for the Florida game.

Week 10 vs. Florida Gators (Jacksonville, Florida)

Kim Klement Neitzel-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Georgia smells blood in the water against a disorganized Florida team. If Billy Napier is still the head coach for this one, he will not survive another blowout in Jacksonville. Florida's half of EverBank Stadium gets emptied in the second half in what is becoming quite a fun annual tradition for Georgia fans.

Score prediction: Georgia 45, Florida 24

Georgia's record: 7-1

Week 11 at Ole Miss Rebels

What's going to happen: Ole Miss comes out motivated after last season's blowout at Georgia. The Rebels score off two Jaxson Dart passing touchdowns in the first half and take a four-point lead into halftime. Carson Beck and the Georgia offense catch fire in the second half and get a clutch touchdown reception from Rara Thomas to give Georgia a one-score win.

Score prediction: Georgia 33, Ole Miss 30

Georgia's record: 8-1

Week 12 vs. Tennessee

Jeremy Reper-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava does damage to the Georgia defense in the second half before throwing a costly interception to Georgia safety Malaki Starks. Georgia running back Trevor Etienne puts this one on ice with a late touchdown.

Score prediction: Georgia 28, Tennessee 17

Georgia's record: 9-1

Week 13 vs. UMass

Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

What's going to happen: Georgia adds to its shutout total in the Kirby Smart era. The Bulldogs surpass 600 yards of offense in an obliteration of UMass. Back up quarterback Gunner Stockton passes for a touchdown and rushes for another touchdown in the second half.

Score prediction: Georgia 56, UMass 0

Georgia's record: 10-1

Week 14 vs. Georgia Tech
