Nutrition expert Dr Federica Amati: 'We need to move away from the idea that if you're hungry, you're weak'

If you've come across disruptive nutrition service Zoe — which aims to analyse gut, blood sugar and blood fat responses to the food people eat via stool samples and neon yellow patches slapped on the upper arm — then you may have heard of Dr Federica Amati. You're more likely to have heard of Professor Tim Spector, the celebrity epidemiologist who heads up Zoe, but Amati is his right-hand woman.

Now she has written a book that Spector says is "an essential nutrition and lifestyle guide across the lifespan". Amati says Every Body Should Know This is her attempt to cut through the deafening nutrition noise we are all bombarded with and, instead, apply science to our food choices so that we live as long and healthy a life as possible.
