However, the same does not seem to be the case with his personal life.

The Mission Impossible star has been through three failed marriages. Recent reports have claimed that he does not have a good relationship with his youngest daughter, Suri Cruise, as well. And the reason behind the estranged relationship is believed to be Cruise's preference for the Church of Scientology.

Tom Cruise's Estranged Relationship With His Daughter

Tom Cruise is reportedly not involved with his youngest daughter, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes. The couple welcomed Suri Cruise into their life months before they got married in 2006. However, their relationship did not work out, and they filed for divorce in 2012.

While Holmes is highly involved in her daughter's life, The Mummy star is reportedly not in touch with his 16-year-old daughter. Sources told Page Six that Cruise is no longer a part of Suri Cruise's life as the two have been estranged allegedly for the past decade.

DailyMail also reported that Suri Cruise is sending college applications with plans to study fashion in New York. While her mother is involved in the process, her father doesn't seem to have a part in guiding her toward her future.

And it is believed that the Top Gun star's involvement with Scientology Church is the reason behind his estranged relationship with his teenage daughter.

Scientology Keeping Tom Cruise Away From His Family

Tom Cruise got involved with the Church of Scientology through his first wife, Mimi Rogers. He continued his participation with the organization even after his separation from Rogers in 1990. And many believe that the organization was the reason his marriage to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes failed as well.

The Church also has an alleged role in his estranged relationship with his daughter. In transcripts of a 2012 defamation lawsuit against Bauer Media, the Vanilla Sky star admitted to not seeing his daughter for three months. He told lawyers that things had not been the same for him and his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, after their divorce.

He allegedly also confessed Scientology's role in his detachment from his child. When asked if he was trying to protect Suri from the organization, he said, "That was one of the assertions, yes." The organization reportedly asks its members to forbid their association with "non-believers."

Sources have also claimed that the Jack Reacher star "must be really brainwashed." Leah Remini, who has been working to expose the organization, believes that Cruise is waiting for Suri to get older and has plans to lure her into Scientology.
