CALLAHAN: Prince demands honors at coronation. Revoke the invitation!

After all the destruction Harry and Meghan have left in their wake, one would think they'd be happy — humbled, even — to accept an invitation to the coronation of King Charles.

Instead, they've reportedly issued a list of demands.

Hey — at least it would be on-brand.

If the King would like his salty son and disgruntled daughter-in-law to attend, their ultimatums reportedly include a private apology during a private meeting with Charles and William (not happening) and a place on the balcony at Buckingham Palace (for senior working royals only).

This comes on top of allowances already made. King Charles will reportedly allow Harry and Meghan use of Frogmore Cottage, from which they are being evicted.

Whether they're conscious of it or not, maybe Harry and Meghan don't really want to attend. Maybe their demands, if the reports about them are true, are just more fodder for victimhood.

For all Harry's bragging about how therapized and self-aware he's become — if you paid $33 dollars for his pay-per-view online therapy session earlier this month, you know what a joke that is — he continues to prove himself intractably dim, un-self aware and ungracious. He is a profoundly spoiled man-child who is probably beyond help.

At least in Meghan, Harry found an equally unhappy partner. They bring out the worst in each other: familial discord, estrangement, perpetual grievance, hypocrisy.

For all their lofty preaching about 'service,' 'being kind,' and the importance of 'forgiveness,' Harry and Meghan are never at fault. They will never admit wrongdoing.

They refuse to acknowledge their well-earned reputation as untrustworthy sellouts. That the emotional and reputational harm they have caused the royals might take years to repair, so perhaps they'd do well to quietly take their seats in whatever back row they're assigned, wish the King well and scurry back to the States, olive branch humbly accepted.

But apparently no — not the greatest narcissists of our lifetime, seemingly determined to make the biggest day of the king's life all about them.

Imagine: This is the culmination of your father's birthright. His purpose. A day he has waited 74 years for, one his former wife wanted taken from him (Diana telling Martin Bashir that Charles wasn't up to the 'top job'), one that required his own mother's death to assume. You trash him in your memoir, implying he failed you as a father, yet he still invites you and your horrible wife to attend — and you reportedly turn around and say: Not good enough. Give me more.

Ugh.

You know, most everyone would have understood had Harry and Meghan been excluded. After all, didn't they run to America in search of freedom from royal life? Have they not spent the years since trashing the monarchy in every available print outlet and streaming service? Heavily implying that the royal family is racist? Accepting an award for standing up to said 'structural racism' within the royal family, then denying they'd ever lobbed such an accusation?

Harry blamed the British press for that one — and if he and Meghan show their faces, they'd better brace themselves. As the old saw goes: Never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel.

And, of course, H&M have proved themselves utterly untrustworthy, the kind of vipers who will sell almost every bit of personal information and private dialogue to the highest bidder.

It's amazing, frankly, that the King would even allow them in his vicinity. Especially as Harry reportedly broke his father's one ask: That Harry not insult Camilla in his book.

Of course, Harry insulted Camilla in his book.

'All that we asked . . .' Harry wrote of himself and William, 'was that he did not marry her. 'You don't need to remarry,' we begged him. A wedding would . . . make the whole country, the whole world, compare our mother and Camilla, something that nobody wanted.'

Does Charles really think that Harry won't act out on the day Diana would have been crowned queen?

The craziest of those crazy demands, to my mind — again, if true — is that Harry and Meghan stand on the palace balcony with the rest of the royal family. You know, the senior members, who actually work.

Seriously: What planet are Harry and Meghan transmitting from?

Have we not spent the past three years listening to them carp about how awful the royals are? Have they not basically said they're too good and enlightened for royal life while clinging to those titles with a white-knuckled death grip?

They christened their daughter as a princess — with Tyler Perry as godfather — before the Palace made Archie and Lilibet's titles public!

Harry and Meghan don't want it both ways — they want it all ways. They have made themselves laughingstocks. 'South Park,' anyone? The royal todger? 'Waaagh'? Worldwide Privacy Tour?

By not engaging, by not allowing Harry and Meghan to drag them into the gutter, the royals have played their hand expertly.

So no: Harry and Meghan shouldn't be on the balcony. No one wants to see them there — surely not Prince William, reportedly enraged, rightly so, by his brother's repeated betrayals. Not the British people, who, as polls show, can't stand these two.

We Americans, for what it's worth, feel much the same.

King Charles will reportedly allow Harry and Meghan use of Frogmore Cottage (above), from which they are being evicted.

The Palace should hold firm. Prince Harry sat with Oprah as his grandfather was ill and allowed Meghan to heavily imply that his family was racist, that they didn't care that she was suicidal while pregnant, and that the royals did nothing to help her adjust despite fast-tracking her into the fold.

It was an unforgivable act of cruelty, one that could have ruined his grandmother's legacy.

That Harry and Meghan reportedly can't accept this invitation on the King's terms is fair warning: Nothing the Palace agrees to will ever be good enough for Harry and Meghan. They are bottomless pits of need and want. Grievance and betrayal are their default settings. They cannot be trusted to attend the coronation in good faith and high spirits.

Sure, revoking their invitation will play into their victimhood. That's a given. But if H&M attend, they'll find something, anything, to weaponize. They'll claim something terrible (e.g. 'racist-not-racist') was said by a senior royal or that they were snubbed or some other nonsense that they'll try to monetize, weeping all the way to the bank.

The spare would do well to spare us all. If he won't, the Palace should.

Please: Revoke the invitation!
