Even though it was an international week, there was still plenty going on in the world of Celtic. We had some of our first team players representing their countries abroad and as the week kicked off we had the Women's Glasgow Derby.

Celtic were facing Rangers at Braodwood in a match that had huge implications on both club's chances of qualifying for the Champions League.

Rangers were chasing Celtic for second place and although we have a slim chance of keeping within touching distance of the league, Fran Alonso's side were simply hoping to make sure that come the end of the night, we were still sitting above our rivals in the table.

And after being behind 1-0 for most of the match, Caitlin Hayes' 99th minute equaliser set off a chain of events that led to Rangers assistant boss Craig McPherson having a meltdown in an incident with Fran Alonso.

Asked about that on Sky Sports, Ange Postecoglou said the club will 'comply' with the SFA investigation, "You know, it speaks for itself. The important thing now it is in the hands of the people who it should be in the hands of. To investigate it properly and get all sides of the story and deal with it appropriately.

"From our perspective as a football club, it is just about making sure we comply with the investigation and do everything we need to do. We will let the rest take care of itself."

Fran Alonso was quick to try and diffuse the situation and said that all he wanted was an apology from McPherson but, it seems, that request has not been forthcoming.

Michael Beale was also asked about the incident at his pre-match press conference [Football Scotland] and what the Rangers boss had to say wasn't exactly condemnation: "I haven't seen it live and I know that the SFA and Rangers have an ongoing discussion around it. All I would say on Craig is that it's out of character for him. Everyone that knows him in Scotland as a man, knows it's out of character.

"I haven't seen it since but I've obviously been told about it. I haven't personally spoken to him. That's away with the SFA, they've cited him and those discussions are going on and it would be unfair for me to comment more on that."
