A MAJOR retailer has announced plans to open a flagship store in Glasgow city centre.

Next is set to open the brand new store on Argyle Street in autumn.

We previously reported the fashion and homeware retailer had applied to make a return to the street after vacating its former unit in December 2021.

The St Enoch Centre has now confirmed the 28,000 sq ft store is expected to open in October in the former Top Shop premises.
