Mason Mount's mystery companion has been revealed as model and TikTok star, Freya Tidy.

The Manchester United midfielder, 25, was spotted with the beautiful blonde, 21, on a stroll around Altrincham in Wednesday, with the pair later driving off together in his £120,000 modified Land Rover Defender model.

Now MailOnline can exclusively reveal that Freya is no stranger to the limelight as a social media star who boasts 287,000 Instagram followers and 761,500 TikTok followers.

Freya, from Essex, worked in McDonald's as a teenager before enrolling in dance college and quickly gained a TikTok following after sharing a slew of dance and lip sync videos.

One of her hit videos from August last year showed her taking on the #UnapproachableMakeup trend on TikTok, which saw women show off their very bold makeup looks as a way to 'put off men.'

The nature of Mason and Freya's relationship is unclear. MailOnline has contacted their representatives for comment.

In 2022, Mason confirmed his split from his model girlfriend Chloe Wealleans-Watts after five years together.

Speaking to Tatler he added that he has been going on dates 'sometimes' since his break up but only 'when he comes up to London'.

'Football is my priority,' he affirmed to the glossy magazine, when asked about his relationship status.

Chloe and Mason were believed to have met in 2017 and started dating shortly afterwards, having taken many extravagant trips together.

In January last year, Mason was said to have signed up to celebrity dating app, Raya.

A source told The Sun: 'Mason is all about football but is also looking to find the right girl to settle down with.

'He is looking for a genuine connection and hopes that a few dates in the capital can help him find The One.

'Mason has taken his time after the break-up but is not going to rush into anything.'

Six months later he was lined to TikTok star Claire Grossman, a New York socialite.

He did not comment on relationship speculation at the time.

A source told The Sun: 'Mason and Claire have grown close in the last few months and have lots of friends in common.

'They both have a love of fashion and enjoy sharing their looks on social media from their trips abroad.'

It comes as Mason endures a frustrating debut season at Old Trafford following a £60million summer move from Chelsea.

Mason missed a large portion of the campaign with a calf injury and has featured only 12 times for Erik ten Hag's side in the Premier League.

Earlier this month, Erik dismissed the suggestion that Chelsea's desire to offload Mason last summer motivated his move to Old Trafford, rather than a willingness from the midfielder.

His Stamford Bridge exit came after a prolonged contract stand-off with Chelsea, with Mason sold when there was just a year left to run on his deal after the two parties were unable to reach an agreement.

ESPN claimed that given the player counted as an academy product, coupled with the need for the club to raise money after a significant transfer outlay last season, Mason's departure was viewed as the perfect solution to generate much-needed cash.

'I don't think Chelsea wanted to sell him,' Erik said ahead of his side's 4-3 defeat by the Blues. 'They wanted to keep him and offered him a new contract many times. But he wanted to make this step.

'He's a fantastic football player. It's important first that he's getting and keeping fit.'
