Manchester City are preparing to face Brighton in their next Premier League fixture.

Pep Guardiola's side are continuing their quest to win the Premier League title. However, City are battling with Arsenal and Liverpool for the right to be crowned champions for a fourth consecutive season.

City claimed a 1-0 win over Chelsea to reach the FA Cup final at the weekend. The victory came after City were knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid.

Now City's focus will return to Premier League action, where they travel to the Amex Stadium to take on the Seagulls. City go into the game in third place in the league table and will look to close the gap on leaders Arsenal in the process.

However, City are being forced to deal with several key players being injury doubts for the game. MEN Sport takes a look at the injury latest on the players who may have fitness doubts for City in the trip to face Brighton.

Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland will not be available to face Brighton as he continues to recover from a muscle injury.

The striker missed the FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea at the weekend with a fitness issue. Guardiola confirmed on Wednesday that Haaland would not be available to face Brighton, even though the injury is not serious.

"Erling is not ready for tomorrow," Guardiola told reporters. "It's not a big issue but he's not allowed for this game."

Potential return date: Unknown

Phil Foden

Phil Foden emerged as a potential fitness doubt for City after he missed training on Tuesday.

Foden played the full 90 minutes against Chelsea at Wembley but was a doubt for the trip to face Brighton. However, Guardiola confirmed that Foden is available for the match despite not taking part in training earlier in the week.

Potential return date: Brighton (A) - April 25

John Stones

John Stones emerged as an injury concern for City after he was substituted at half time against Chelsea at Wembley.

Days later, though, Stones was spotted taking part in training for City, easing the fears that he could be forced to miss the match against Brighton. As a result, the centre-back is expected to be available to feature against the Seagulls.

Pep Guardiola's men are looking to move a step closer to another Premier League title - as well as complete another possible Treble.
