Three teenagers arrested after alleged 'disorder incident' in Bonhill

THREE teenagers have been arrested in connection with an alleged disorder incident in Bonhill.

Officers on patrol in the area stopped the youngsters shortly before 8pm on Friday (March 17).

Police said a 19-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the alleged incident which is reported to have taken place in Strathleven Drive.

The teenagers were released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Local Area Commander, Chief Inspector Ryan McMurdo said: "As a result of the policing plan put in place to address these recent issues [large-scale disorder incident in Brucehill], a 19-year-old man and two 17-year-old male youths were arrested in connection with an incident of disorder that took place on Friday, March 17 around 7.50pm in Strathleven Drive. 

"They were released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

"A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal."
