ONE OF the busiest vehicle routes on the Isle of Wight is subject to roadworks next week.
Island Roads will be conducting line and other associated highways painting works on the Downend Road and Mersley Down Road, near Arreton, between Tuesday and Thursday.
The work will be done during the off-peak traffic period, between 7.30pm and 6am, with both routes closed along their entire lengths during those times for safety.
Alternative routes will be signposted accordingly.
