The Royal Family's popularity dipped in the wake of the accusations and criticism levelled at its members and the institution itself by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex between December and January. However, it has since bounced back, a new survey conducted by YouGov has suggested.

The poll, carried out between March 18 and 20, asked 1,983 adults in Great Britain which opinion they had of each Royal Family member, with the answers available ranging from "very positive" to "very negative" and "don't know".

Prince William, who is currently visiting Poland, topped the chart, with 72 percent of the respondents saying they had either a "very" or "fairly" positive opinion of him, against 18 who said they see him negatively.

A similar poll carried out between January 10 and 11, amid the release of Prince Harry's blistering memoir Spare, saw Prince William gathering a lower approval rating, 70 percent, and a higher negative one, 21 percent.

His wife Kate followed through, gathering 70 percent of positive answers against 15 percent of negative ones.

Much like William, the Princess of Wales performed better than she did in January, when she garnered 68 percent positive answers against 18 percent negative ones.

The princess's approval rating was similar to Princess Anne's, who saw 70 percent of the respondents saying they have a positive opinion of her against 13 percent, who said not to see her in a positive light.

The Princess Royal lost some popularity since January, when 72 percent of those polled said to have a positive opinion of her.

However, over the past months the percentage of people holding a negative view of her remained unchanged, with more people than before answering "don't know" - a growth from 15 percent to 17 percent.

King Charles, who Prince Harry criticised for the upbringing he had given him as a child, trailed his sister, with 63 percent of those polled holding a positive view of him against 26 percent.

The positive answers for the monarch grew by 1 percent since January, while the negative ones decreased by three percent.

Prince Edward, who was created Duke of Edinburgh by King Charles earlier this month, also fared better than in January, obtaining 58 percent of positive answers (four percent higher than earlier this year) against 21 percent of negative ones (a two percent drop).

Queen Camilla also performed better when comparing the latest poll with the one carried out in January, when Prince Harry's allegations - including that she was willing to trade information with the press to improve her image in the early 2000s - against her had just been launched.

Three months ago, 46 percent of the respondents said to have a positive opinion of her, while the recent survey saw 48 percent giving a similar answer. The total negative answers when it comes to the Queen Consort decreased over the past months from 40 percent to 37 percent.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, remain the least-liked members of the Royal Family with the exception of Prince Andrew, who garnered 7 percent of positive answers in the recent poll much like he did in January, the poll suggested.

Much like in January, Meghan saw 22 percent of the respondents saying they have a positive view of her, but the percentage of negative answers decreased from 68 to 65 percent over the months.

Harry, on the other hand, saw his popularity among Britons slightly increasing from 24 percent to 25 percent, with the percentage of people saying to have a negative opinion of him decreasing from 68 to 64 percent.

Overall, the Royal Family increased its popularity by one percent over the past few months, the poll suggested and saw the percentage of people saying they had a negative opinion of it going from 34 to 30 percent.

The institution of the monarchy in general also fared better than in January, with positive answers going from 54 to 58 percent while the negative ones decreased from 37 to 32 percent.
