Performing a version of Abba's The Winner Takes It All, judges Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli were left horrified when she started burping her way through the track.

In the days since, Ofcom have confirmed they received 54 complaints related to her routine.

The sweet-faced mum had everyone in the audience fooled as she first approached the stage, but faces started dropping as her act went underway.

While Alesha and Bruno eventually slammed their buzzer to get her off the stage, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell later got involved, burping down their microphones.

Alesha said: "Even by my standards that's very crass, Amanda. You've got more class than this!"

Even Simon's nine-year-old son Eric made an appearance to give it a go as well.

Bruno clearly looked like he was going to be sick, with Alesha refusing to talk as she stormed off the panel.

But Bruno had a change of heart, and even though he buzzed her off later returned to put her through.

He said: "[I'm saying yes] just because I can't possibly imagine how you're going to out gross this grossness. I'll change it around."

Kimberly said she wanted to make it "worldwide" with her act, with her husband cheering her on from the audience.

Viewers watching at home were in two minds about the performance - with plenty saying it made them 'feel sick' while others thought it was funny.

"Why would you go on and burp into a microphone," wrote one person. "[It] was making me feel sick #BGT can't imagine the royal family liking it"

"All that burping is actually making me feel sick" wrote another.
