The single ladies are introduced in very flirty fashion.

Singer Dannii Minogue is back to play Cupid in the BBC Three show which has been praised as the first programme 'for girls who like girls.'

Fiorenza, who plays in the band Uninvited, said: "I'm very proud to be a part of the show, especially the first season for the girls.

"It should have existed years ago.

"We need more representation for lesbian relationships and what the dating life of a lezza entails.

"It's such a unique and special thing that should be shown everywhere."

The new series is a spin-off of last year's hit gay dating show, I Kissed A Boy.

Comedian, presenter and TikTok star Charley Marlowe will take the reins as narrator after replacing Layton Williams.

The single women will stay in an Italian villa and be matched into pairs.

At their first meeting they've to go straight in for a kiss without saying a word.

Each couple will regularly declare whether or not they want to stay partnered or try it on with someone else.

Those who are left without a partner must go home.

The first two episodes of I Kissed a Girl will be on BBC iPlayer on Sunday May 5, and following episodes will air on BBC Three every Sunday and Monday at 9pm.
