Police called to Glasgow 'disturbance' as two men rushed to hospital

Emergency services rushed to the Penilee area of Glasgow last night after reports of a disturbance.

Two men, aged 54 and 46, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where their condition has been described as stable.

Police were called to Bowfield Crescent in Penilee last night (May 26) at around 8.45pm.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.45 pm on Friday, 26 may 2023 police were called to a disturbance in a lane near to Bowfield Crescent, Penilee, Glasgow.

"Two men, aged 54 and 46 years, were injured during the incident and were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe their condition as stable.

"Enquiries into the incident are continuing."
