A mum-of-three who tragically died from bowel cancer aged just 34 made a pact with her closest friends in the lead up to her death. Jennifer Roche died on January 24 after a 12-month battle with the disease. Her husband described her as the kind of person who dedicated their life to 'putting a smile on people's faces.' Before her death, the 34-year-old mum from Merseyside hatched a plan with her friends and family to climb Snowdon this year. READ MORE: 'We have to wear so many layers to keep warm - now my baby is sick' She told them she'd had a vision of herself on top of a mountain after all her treatment was over, wearing purple - but never got the chance to see it through. Her husband David, told the ECHO: "Jen was a fantastic person and we had three beautiful children. She was just really bubbly, Jen could walk into a room and light it up that is the best way to describe her. "She was really fun and a brilliant mum, the girls just loved her. She was an air hostess and loved being out and about, putting a smile on people's faces."
Jennifer met David on a night out in Ormskirk, and the couple married in 2013. David said that "everyone will miss" Jennifer, who dedicated her life to making people smile. David, 36, said: "Jen had this vision of herself after the treatment had finished so we decided to do it for her. It is the closest to heaven we can get." On July 8, Jennifer's best friends and 60 others will be walking Snowdon in her memory and to raise money to for the Woodlands Hospice, which provides end of life care and is continuing to support her three daughters. In addition to the Snowdon walk, friends and family are also taking part in the Liverpool to Chester 50km bike ride on 2nd July. A JustGiving page set up by friends said: "Earlier this year we lost Jen our friend, mummy, daughter, sister and wife to bowel cancer. "Jen fought as much as she could and she put up an amazing fight, she was taken from us all far too soon! Jen was funny, beautiful and gave the best of herself always. She was the kindest soul and never had a bad word against anyone. The best friend, mum, wife, sister and daughter she could be to us all."
