Ron DeSantis: Harry and Meghan annoy some Americans

Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor tipped to take on Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, has said he thinks some Americans find Prince Harry and Meghan "annoying".

The 44-year-old told TalkTV that while he "really respected" Elizabeth II, he did not have a specific view on the Sussexes. Pushed by Piers Morgan on whether the couple were annoying, DeSantis replied: "I think for some they are. But look, I'm not involved in that."

As the interview aired yesterday evening, Prince Harry made a surprise appearance on a car renovation show where he said a disabled veteran was the "definition of inspiration".
