Chelsea boss Graham Potter has had his say on his predecessor Thomas Tuchel's public comments on an approach for coach Anthony Barry. The German head coach has recently been appointed as new Bayern Munich manager, with hopes of adding Barry to his staff at the club. Tuchel said in his first press conference: "My coaching staff wasn't prepared either, so a big thank you to their families for their flexibility. Arno Michels and Zsolt Low, who have been working with me for over 10 years, will be there. "We're hoping to add Anthony Barry, who is currently at Chelsea. We're fighting for that and we're confident because it's my absolute wish." Potter was asked for his take on the publicity Tuchel created with airing the comments ahead of a move in his press conference. He said: "I am going to sound diplomatic but it's not for me to comment on how other people are. "I know this job, it is a tough one and sometimes you say things you don't mean to say or that you regret. I have certainly done the same myself. I don't concern myself too much with what other managers say. "I respect how difficult the job is. I have huge respect for Thomas, as a coach, as a person. I don't know him well. But everybody here speaks about him very, very highly. My respect is big for him, Like everybody they conduct themselves how they want to and that is fine by me." The former Brighton man was then asked if he would do the same, adding: "I don't know the context or how the interview went. I don't know anything about it. It's not something I have studied. I don't know how it has come up. "You can't control what other people do. Can't get upset about that. I'm not perfect and don't do everything right. I respect my colleagues and what they do."
