Peter Andre narrows down two names for baby daughter after weeks of struggle

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 51, has been at loggerheads with wife Emily, 34, following the arrival of their newborn. They welcomed their third child together earlier this month and have shared their stress at being unable to agree on a name. Peter revealed their adorable baby girl is being called 'bubba' in the meantime, however has since shared they now have two names to pick from.

He confessed the names in the running for his baby while responding to his Instagram followers. Peter told one: "Athena is also in the running. Not sure how ems feels about it but I LOVE it." He also responded to another fan: "Charlotte is also in the running. I like Charlie."

His name suggestions came just hours after revealing they are calling their baby 'bubba' for now. Alongside the video of Peter cuddling his bundle of joy, he wrote: "The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether. What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name."

Peter and Emily have been flooded with suggestions from fans, yet it appears non of them have taken their fancy just yet. Dad-of-five Peter confessed he has now left it up to Emily to choose the name as he is relieving himself of all responsibility. Peter is a proud dad to Amelia, 10, and Theo, 7, with Emily, and he also shares eldest children and Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price.

" We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy. Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more," Peter told OK! Magazine. He also revealed the couple are on a strict deadline to make a decision soon as they have "less than four weeks before we have to register her".

Emily, 34, gave birth to their baby with the newborn weighing 7lb 3oz and was delivered at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton, Somerset. Responding to a fan's query about whether they had chosen a name, Peter confessed: "Still no name. Literally struggling. She doesn't look like anyone [of] the names we have thought of." Peter added in OK!: "We've been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but then Emily and I don't seem to agree on them. So I think it's only fair that Emily decides - I hope she picks a good one."
