Sunseekers have been making the most of the glorious bank holiday weekend weather as they enjoy the hottest day of the year so far.
Brighton beach has been packed all day as visitors and locals alike soak up the sunshine.
This weekend is the start of half term for much of England and people have flocked to one of the country's most popular beaches to get some rays.
It is also the final weekend of Brighton Festival and the penultimate of Brighton Fringe so there are free events across the city which people are enjoying.
The city remains a popular destination for hen dos and groups have been seen celebrating with bottles of fizz on the beach.
Many were seen braving the sea to cool off from the bright sunshine beating down on the pebbles.
It is expected to be even hotter tomorrow, with the Met Office forecasting highs of 22C for Sunday in Brighton.
