A main Isle of Wight road has been closed 'for the foreseeable' following a serious collision this morning (Sunday, May 28).
Blackwater Hollow, on the outskirts of Newport, has been closed while police deal with the crash.
Diversions through Highwood Lane are in place, so traffic delays are to be expected.
Southern Vectis' route three buses are unable to service Bohemia Corner, Pagham, Rookley or Blackwater Mill and will instead divert via Mertsone.
The incident remains ongoing.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have been contacted for a statement.
