From Aries through to Pisces, here's what today could bring for your horoscope - and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)

Make it your choice to spend time with close friends and people you care about most. Send a message to someone who said they were busy this weekend and you could find there's been a change of plans. This will mean they are free to meet up with you after all.

Taurus (Apr 21 - May 21)

You're keen to sort out an issue that has a bearing on your future security. Other people involved seem reluctant to commit themselves. Although you would like to know where you stand in some areas, you may have to leave important and serious matters until another day.

Gemini (May 22 - June 21)

There's some uncertainty in the air. There are things you want to keep quiet about but there is a trouble-maker close by who is getting a lot of pleasure out of telling other people's secrets. Avoid gossip and keep your own thoughts to yourself.

Cancer (June 22 - July 23)

Plenty of opportunities will be coming your way to keep any restlessness at bay. A celebration arranged for this evening will turn out to be somewhat different to what had originally been planned due to some extra company deciding to join you.

Leo (July 24 - Aug 23)

A friend or neighbour will want to repay you for a favour you did for them some time ago. You had forgotten all about this but they haven't and when they see a chance to show their appreciation, they will take it. Be ready to put some hard, purposeful effort into a project you take on.

Virgo (Aug 24 - Sept 23)

You could use a change of scenery. If you can arrange a trip or journey with a friend or if visiting someone special is the reason behind being on the move, this will double your enjoyment. A promise made to you by an older relative will be fulfilled before the end of the day.

Libra (Sept 24 - Oct 23)

You are in control of a situation but how long will this last if someone else nudges in and encourages you to try new ideas? Currently all is going well. To keep it that way, remind yourself of who is in charge and refuse to let anyone else undermine your authority.

Scorpio (Oct 24 - Nov 22)

Overwork can have a negative impact on your health and emotions. If lately there has been too much work and not enough play, do something about this now. You might show a similar kind of concern for a colleague who, like yourself, has been putting too much of their time into one area for too long.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 - Dec 21)

Travel comes under mixed influences. You need to get from one place to another and you will want to take the most direct route possible. Due to traffic congestion and delays you might find you have no choice but to follow diversions.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 20)

Circumstances will call for you to study your own needs and wishes more than usual. Once you understand yourself you will be able to respect why someone close wants to do something different. Be prepared to break from your usual routines to arrange a small celebration.

Aquarius (Jan 21 - Feb 19)

Make your intentions crystal clear to avoid confusion. Mixed messages could leave you waiting to meet someone in one place while they're waiting someplace else. If you have recently set up home with another, spend some time together to discuss how things are going.

Pisces (Feb 20 - Mar 20)

You don't want to admit to feeling lukewarm about suggestions to visit someone you've not seen for a while who has moved some distance away. You just can't seem to summon the energy or enthusiasm to take up this offer when you would prefer to remain in familiar places.
