Man seriously injured in attack by group of thugs near major Essex road

A man has been left seriously injured following an attack by a group of thugs in an Essex city. The man in his 40s was attacked in the London Road area of Southend last month.

Essex Police have now released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to following the incident which happened on April 7 this year. A spokesman for the force said: "A man in his 40s sustained serious injuries after being assaulted along London Road around 12.45am on Friday 7 April.

"It was reported that the men involved then fled the area past Sainsbury's and towards the A13 roundabout. If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
