First Dates' Fred Sirieix has revealed his co-stars Gordon Ramsay and Gino D'Acampo are always at "loggerheads".

The French star exclusively spoke to the Daily Star and shared some behind-the-scenes secrets of the trio's ITV show, Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip, days before Gino announced he'd quit the show.

When sharing the pair's most annoying habits, Fred told us: "Well the problem is Gordon is always right and Gino is never wrong, and that includes everything...

"So, when they get at loggerheads, I'm just right in the middle. I'm definitely the peacemaker, both on camera and off camera, and in the group chat it's just insane."

Fred revealed the three pals were working together to try and sort timing for the next series of the much-loved show, however it was confirmed this week that Gino had quit, saying the timing wouldn't work and he valued the friendships too much to risk damaging them.

Gino told his followers: "Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gina and Fred Road trips. The reason is very simple - nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong.

"It's just because we can't get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do.

"Personal problems as well because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also because contracts."

When asked if there were ever any wild scenes that didn't make the cut, Fred revealed there were loads in the locker.

He said: "There are quite a few... but if they haven't made the cut, they haven't made the cut.

"We go away for five days at a time for just one episode and all you see is 45 minutes, so there is plenty of drama.

"When we went to America for four weeks, we did four shows which aired, but we did an extra two shows after that for Unseen Bits, but I know there is even more."

One of the wildest moment that did make the show was when Fred, 51, stripped off nude in front of his co-stars which left Gordon, 56, swearing angrily.

Speaking about the moment, Fred said: "I think life is short and it's good to be outrageous every now and then. So, if you can, why not?

"I just like to have fun and when you can get away with murder like that it's fun and it's good because we are so different.

He claims Gordon is "uptight"

"It's fun to be a little shocking like running around naked but you should see what else we get up to with these guys, it's just mad, mad, mad."

Talking further about how much he loved their US trip, Fred said: "It was one of the greatest moments of my life.

"There are very few people in life that you can trust and are close to you and those people are rare - it was so special in so many ways and it was almost perfection."
