Martin Woods is the man in the middle for Saturday's match against Newport County, so far this season he's been in charge of twenty-three games, handing out eighty-three yellow cards and four reds.
He takes charge of games in League One and Two, The Papa Johns Trophy and the FA Cup. Woods was the on field referee for our game against Northampton on the opening day of the season, where he gave two penalties, one to each team. Last season Woods was in charge of seventeen games where he handed out fifty-nine yellow cards and two reds. He mainly covered games in the National League but also did one in League Two and a couple in the FA Cup. He will be assisted by Ryan Whitaker and Andrew Laver and the fourth official is Michael George.
