Ahead of their new album 'So Much (For) Stardust' being released today, Chicago natives Fall Out Boy stopped by Old Trafford to take in the sights, before playing an intimate show at local venue Band on the Wall in Manchester.

Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump and Andy Hurley comprise the band, which formed in 2001 and has achieved massive success so far.

Naturally, while in Manchester, they were keen to visit our home and we joined them on a tour of the stadium. Take a look at our exclusive photography below...

Don't miss our images of the band touring the Theatre of Dreams.

Our visiting trio took in the sights from the Stretford End and followed in the players' footsteps through the iconic tunnel.

The US rockers got a feel of what it's like for our players on matchday, too, and saw how their dressing rooms differ to when they're touring globally.

Then it was over to the Apollo Pitch, located just next to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, to have some more fun.

The band had a go at some football challenges, including the 'Crossbar Challenge' and 'Nothing But Net'.

You can watch the highlights of their visit to Old Trafford below…
