Young Leeds man killed in horror crash named in heart-wrenching tributes

A young Leeds man has been named in online tributes as one of the victims of a horror crash on a major Yorkshire road.

Three people sadly died in a devastating crash on the A63 on Monday, November 22, with one of the vheicles involved bursting into flames.

Now, Lawrence James, from Leeds, has been named on social media as one of the victims, alongside his best pal Willy Harty and another woman called Alison Clark.

Scores of people have already paid tribute to Lawrence on Facebook.

One person close to both Lawrence and Willy posted: "Rest in peace Lawrence James and Willy harty never seen worser prey for the broken hearted."

Another wrote: "Still can't believe it, gone to soon. RIP Lawrence James."

One person posted: "2 young boys add (sic) there full life's a head of them RIP boys Willy harty Lawrence James."

One man who survived the crash is still fighting for his life in hospital and Humberside Police said they are investigating the circumstances behind the crash.

A spokesman for the force said: "Investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding the collision and we would ask witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from driving in the area at the time to contact us on 101 quoting log 497 of 22 November.

"Alternatively, you can report information anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
