They call the Kentucky Derby the race where dreams come true. But that depends on who is doing the calling and where he is sitting.

On Saturday, Brian Hernandez Jr., a 38-year-old jockey out of Lafayette, La., wasn't riding a horse. He was locked in a dream path to victory that only could have been mapped out by whatever mythological jockey had been given a free pass to ride Pegasus.
