Domino's is now rewarding customers with coupons when they generously tip their delivery drivers.

The pizza chain launched its latest promotion, "You Tip, We Tip," on April 29.

Under the promotion, customers who tip their delivery drivers $3 or more will receive a $3 coupon to use on the following week's online delivery order.

"Domino's drivers have been hustling to deliver hot, delicious pizzas since 1960, and we love that customers have been tipping them for their great service since day one," Kate Trumbull, Domino's senior vice president - chief brand officer, said in a statement.

"But these days, everywhere you go, there's a tip screen. The pressure to tip is real, even when no extra service is provided. So, we decided to flip the script and show our appreciation by tipping customers back."

Domino's said it's the first quick-service restaurant to offer such a program for customers.

The company offered a similar promotion in 2022, rewarding customers who opted to pick up their orders rather than have a delivery driver bring it to them.

Under that promotion, customers received a "$3 tip" that could be used for their next online carryout order.

Domino's latest promotion comes as Americans continue to deal with tipping fatigue.

Some surveys have shown that Americans are tipping less when asked to do more at restaurants.
