Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa already had 1,000-yard receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to throw to with the Dolphins. Now Miami is adding a three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver to its roster via NFL free agency.

The Dolphins are signing Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year, $3 million contract, NFL Network and ESPN reported on Friday, that could be worth up to $8.25 million because of incentives.

After not playing in 2022, Beckham returned in 2023 to catch 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens. In 110 NFL regular-season games, Beckham has 566 receptions for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns.

Beckham missed the 2022 season after sustaining a torn anterior cruciate ligament while playing with the Los Angeles Rams during Super Bowl LVI.

Beckham earned Pro Bowl recognition in each of his first three seasons after entering the NFL as a first-round pick of the New York Giants in 2014.

Miami had seven selections in the 2024 NFL Draft and used two on wide receivers. The Dolphins chose Virginia's Malik Washington in the sixth round and Southern Cal's Tahj Washington in the seventh round.

A former Alabama All-American, Tagovailoa led the NFL in passing yards during the 2023 season with 4,624.

A former West Alabama standout, Hill led the NFL in receiving yards and tied for the lead in receiving touchdowns in 2023, when he caught 119 passes for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

A former Alabama standout, Waddle had 72 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns in 2023 as he recorded his third consecutive 1,000-yard season since entering the NFL as the sixth selection in the 2021 draft.
