The Metropolitan police said a 14-year-old boy was killed in a sword attack in Hainault, east London. Four others were injured, including two members of the public and two officers. The Met said the officers sustained wounds that required surgery, while the injuries sustained by two members of the public were not deemed to be life-threatening.
