NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The father of Grammy-winning artist Mandisa, who died last month at her Middle Tennessee home, is speaking out about rumors surrounding his daughter's death.

According to a report from FOX News, John Hundley says there have been "no signs" of self-harm amid the Christian singer's death investigation. Mandisa had previously opened up about her struggle with depression - which, after her death, sparked rumors that she may have hurt herself.

Hundley told FOX News there were "no signs to indicate that she did anything to harm herself."

I believe firmly that the detective believes and knows that she did not [harm herself]," Hundley said. "They talked about the scars, any type of bruises that may have been on her body. They looked for signs that she may have harmed herself, and there were no signs to indicate that she did anything to harm herself."
