D'IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - A lottery player is a millionaire after purchasing a $1,000,000 ticket at the Scarlet Pearl Casino and Resort. The ticket matched all five numbers in Tuesday night's drawing, and it was only one number away from winning the estimated jackpot of $257 million. Tuesday night's numbers were 10-18-27-37-61 with a Mega Ball of 5. Had the player spent an extra dollar for the multiplier, they would have won $3 million. The Scarlet Pearl will receive $5,000 selling bonus for selling the ticket. The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, which must be done in person at Mississippi Lottery headquarters in Flowood.
