Exclusive: Galaxy Watch Ultra software build spotted online

Previously, details regarding the battery size of the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro had surfaced. According to the latest findings in our database, Samsung might introduce the Watch Ultra instead of the Watch 7 Pro. We expect Samsung to unveil three new watches: the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra.

Galaxy Watch Ultra One UI beta build spotted

A few days after we spotted the Galaxy Watch Ultra, we saw that One UI Beta tests for the smartwatch had started. Samsung has developed 8 One UI Beta test builds. And, this confirms that the claims that the Watch Ultra won't be unveiled are false. The brand is testing the One UI Beta for the Watch Ultra. It officially confirms that the smartwatch will be launched in the future.

The Watch Ultra was initially thought to be sold as the Watch 7 Pro. However, our database revealed that the Watch 7 Pro will not be introduced. Samsung will announce a new smartwatch under the Watch Ultra name for the first time.

The last internal One UI Beta build is L705FXXU0AXD8. L705F is the model number of the Watch Ultra. The letter U in the One UI Beta build represents new features, bug fixes, and many more important improvements. Samsung is passing the smartwatch through important testing phases before releasing it on the market.

"A" stands for the first One UI version and XD for when the beta build was tested. X means 2024, and D means April. For the Galaxy Watch Ultra, 8 beta builds were tested in April 2024. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is finally arriving

Earlier reports indicated a larger battery (578mAh) for an upcoming Galaxy Watch with the model number of EB-BL705ABY. While we expected three new watches (Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra), Samsung might skip the Classic model as Samsung had previously skipped the Classic model with the Watch5 series. Our database reveals three distinct model numbers (SM-L705U, SM-L705N, and SM-L705F) for the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra. These model numbers represent the US, Korea, and Global. The new Watch Ultra will be officially launched in several regions.

We know that the Galaxy Watch FE will carry similar features to the Galaxy Watch4 introduced in 2021. The Galaxy Watch4 still holds up quite well even in 2024. It's great to see Samsung introducing an affordable Watch model because not everyone's budget is sufficient for a smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch FE is also on its way

Samsung's Watch FE will serve as a more budget-friendly alternative to the Watch Ultra. The watch is expected to share features with the well-regarded Galaxy Watch4 (2021).
