Exclusive: 70 images of Sony Xperia 1 VI & Xperia 10 VI

Original source (on modern site)

Sony has a couple of new Android phones on the way, and we bring you exclusive images of both of those devices and their cases. In the galleries across the article, you'll find images of the Sony Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 10 VI, and their cases.

Last month, we exclusively shown you the design of the Sony Xperia 1 VI via CAD-based renders. This time around we're actually delivering a ton of official renders of the phone and its sibling.

Both of these smartphones are expected to launch at some point this month. The reports have been pointing in that direction, and their predecessors arrived in May 2023. So, it fits. In any case, let's start with the Sony Xperia 1 VI.

Check out 30 Sony Xperia 1 VI images

In the gallery below this paragraph, you'll be able to see 30 renders of the Xperia 1 VI. The black and white colors of the phone are shown here, though they look more like dark gray and beige. We're not sure what names Sony will use for these color variants, though.

You can clearly see that the phone will feature a flat display without holes on it. Sony will stick with somewhat thicker top and bottom bezels in order to avoid display camera holes and notches. The design of the phone will be similar to last year's, but the display aspect ratio will be different. The phone won't be as narrow.

You will clearly notice that there are three cameras included on the back. The camera island is in the top-left corner on the back, and you'll also notice the ZEISS logo back there. The phone's lenses will have ZEISS' T* coating to tone down glare.

There's nothing on the left-hand side of the device, but the right side is quite busy. The power/lock button is there, and it will double as a fingerprint scanner. Above it you'll notice the volume up and down buttons, while towards the bottom is the camera shutter key. The frame of the phone has that indented pattern that we've seen in the past. An audio jack sits at the top side of the device.

Sony's case for its upcoming flagship has a kickstand

If you peek inside the gallery below, you'll spot Sony's official case for this phone. As you can see, it has a kickstand on the back, and most of the right side of the phone is exposed.

We're also including 30 Sony Xperia 10 VI renders

The Sony Xperia 10 VI will become the company's new mid-range handset. If you check out the gallery below this paragraph, there are 30 images of the phone included in there. From the front, the device does resemble the Xperia 1 VI. Its bezels are a bit thicker, though. A flat display is used here, without a display camera hole or anything like that.

There are two vertically aligned cameras on the back. They're located in the top-left corner of the phone's backplate. The camera island design is different than the one on the Xperia 1 VI. This one seems to be blending with the backplates of the device.

Unlike the Xperia 1 VI, the Xperia 10 VI could offer storage expansion. You'll notice a slot on the left-hand side. Now, this could only be for the SIM cards, but its predecessor did offer storage expansion, so we expect the same here. Plus the sheer design of that slot on the left suggests it.

An audio jack sits at the top of the phone, while the power/lock button and the volume up and down buttons are on the left. Chances are that the phone's power/lock button will double as a fingerprint scanner.

The Xperia 10 VI's case is similar to the Xperia 1 VI's

The Xperia 10 VI's case is shown below, and it looks the same as the Xperia 1 VI's, basically. There's also a kickstand on the back here.
