The past three seasons all feature some theme. You have vampiric powers and spider-mech companions, and now we're on to the next season of the action RPG. What is the Diablo 4 Season 4 theme, then? There doesn't appear to be the same style of overarching theme for this season of Diablo 4 as in the past ones. Instead, we're receiving the Loot Reborn itemization overhaul system. It's a welcome set of fixes to the game, improving the end-game gameplay's overall experience and longevity. That said, Blizzard has a general theme for these changes, and it's based around fire and the forge. It makes sense, considering we'll see an overhaul of the Helltide system, with players becoming Hellborne, and the introduction of the Iron Wolves—mercenaries you can work with through a questline to help stop demonic forces down south. To date, every season of the ARPG features a unique gear set that is unlockable by progressing through the game's battle pass. Alongside this set, we'll receive unique cosmetics in Tejal's Shop, starting on May 14, with new armor, accessories, and mount cosmetics to purchase and play around with. You'll note in the screenshot above that we're playing about with a fire theme in this season's gear set. The Demon's Heart Bundle, available for the Barbarian, is one such gear set you'll have a chance to purchase.
