As part of a monthly feature, here is the latest on the top prospects in Georgia.

It's no secret that the state of Georgia is loaded with talent. The Peach State boasts 32 prospects in the Top247.

Here's the latest on the top-10.

1)  FIVE-STAR DL ELIJAH GRIFFIN of Savannah Christian Prep — The No. 7 prospect in the country has maintained for the duration of his recruitment that a commitment decision would not come until the fall or thereafter. So while Georgia is considered the frontrunner, plenty can still transpire between now and when he signs next winter. Plus, he took a handful of visits in January and the spring, so he's working through the process with an open mind. Outside of Georgia, the schools in the mix are Clemson, Miami, Oregon, South Carolina and USC. What schools host him in June on official visits will be telling. It'll also be interesting to track if some suitors prefer to host him in the fall considering his decision timeline. What 247Sports recently wrote: "If there's a legit dark horse in this recruitment, then I'd coin it as the Gamecocks. They've been there from the beginning and the relationships are present. He's visited South Carolina at least five or six times. Plus, Columbia is less than a three-hour drive from Savannah. South Carolina is well-positioned to receive an official visit. Ultimately, the product that South Carolina puts on the field this fall will help determine the Gamecocks' odds." I also like what Miami has done in this recruitment. Would not discount Oregon either despite the distance from home.
