It may feel like Mortal Kombat 1 just hit the stage not that long ago, but the game is already in the home stretch of its first round of DLC with a big time "hero" set to steal the spotlight soon.

NetherRealm Studios today fully unveiled Homelander from The Boys plus a bit of Ferra in a new trailer for the upcoming Kombat Pack arrival.

The trailer starts with a recreation of the weird milk drinking scene from the show as a victory animation before the camera pulls back out to show Ferra leaping into the air to get a better look at her.

Next up is the DLC characters' Versus screen animations with Homelander smiling and striking a heroic pose while Ferra perches atop a bag full of severed heads. Plus Mavado can also be seen there too before his official launch this week.

Unsurprisingly, there's no actual gameplay shown here in this trailer, but they do show off parts of Homelander's pre-fight intro and his Fatalities.

Ferra doesn't get much else unfortunately.

Fans of They Boys will probably recognize those finishers with the eye laser head melt and Liu Kang getting punched into a plane.

Although he is also attending the same CCXP Mexico event where the MK1 reveal took place, there's been no confirmation as to whether Antony Starr is the voice actor for his character in the fighting game after all.

Starr has previously stated on multiple occasions that he was not reprising his role for Mortal Kombat though fans continued to hold out hope.

Tara Strong hasn't been confirmed as returning to voice Ferra from Mortal Kombat X either, but from the sound of her voice here, that's sounding likely.

There is no release date for the character given, but considering the trailer description points out The Boys Season 4 premieres on June 13, we can probably expect to hear more by then if not before.

You can check out the debut trailer for Homelander and Ferra as they'll appear in Mortal Kombat 1 below along with some 4K screenshots.
