SANFORD, Fla. (CBS Newspath, WKMG, WKRC) - A 16-year-old boy is accused of shooting 10 people on Sunday, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were patrolling Cabana Live because of it's large crowd when they heard gunshots coming from the back of the venue.

Investigators said the incident started from a verbal altercation. A total of 10 people were shot. All gunshot wounds were non-life-threatening.

The shooter was taken into a juvenile detention center and faces charges of possession of a firearm by a minor, use and display of a firearm during a felony, firing a weapon in public property and attempted homicide.

"We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate," said the Houston Texans.

Texans wide receiver, Tank Dell, was at the event, according to multiple reports. He was shot and sustained a minor wound.
