Heeramandi Star Richa Chadha REVEALS Her Tears In Solo Kathak Song Were Real, Drops Beautiful BTS Pics From Shoot

Richa Chadha has been garnering praise for portraying the role of Lajjo in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut OTT project Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actress who has proved her acting prowess in films like Fukrey, Madam Prime Minister, Section 375 and more has now shared what went into preparing for the role of Lajjo in the Netflix series. She also revealed how her tears in her solo song performance were real.

Taking to her official Instagram handle on Monday, Richa shared BTS moments from the shoot of her song - Masoom Dil Hain Mera. Summarising how she got ready for the song, Richa penned a long caption. She wrote, "Wanna see what all goes into making a memorable character dancing her swan song with a master - The SLB? 2 hours of hair and make up … got to work with @tanujadabirmakeup and @ashisbogi for #masoomdilhaimera ! Then the heavy, oh so heavy Anarkali by @rimpleandharpreet !

She also gave a glimpse of her adorable moments with cute puppies on the sets, who acted as stress busters. She added, "The cute doggies on set were the best stress busters… you see here me cuddling with the best baby puppers in a break, and our set favourite Bagheera taking a lap ride with Ashis! Some mirror practice of the bhaav, walking to our beautiful set, gearing up for the challenge!!!"

The soon-to-be mom concluded the post with a revelation that the tears in her eyes during the shoot of her solo song were real. She wrote, "The tears are real… so you see Tanuja removing the remains of running mascara from under my eyes… tell me what did you think of that last shot of Lajjo dancing... Be honest, DID IT MAKE YOU CRY ? "

Soon after the video was shared on social media, celebs from the industry chimed into the comments section to shower compliments on Richa and her portrayal of Lajjo.
