Less than 250 days remain for the run-up to the final stages of the Presidential Elections of the United States of America where both Joe Biden and Donald Trump will be in a close fight against each other when the ballot boxes open and US citizens cast their votes.

Primary elections in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Indiana

According to USA Today, Primaries will be held on multiple dates across US regions that will see Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin hosting their primaries on April 2 this year.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania will see its share of primaries on April 23 while primaries in Indiana will be held on May 7, says USA Today.



Important dates for US Presidential Elections for May and June

Nebraska, Maryland, and West Virginia will be hosting their primaries on May 14 while primaries in Kentucky and Oregon will be held on May 21.

Towards the end of the primary election season, Montana, South Dakota, New Jersey, and New Mexico will be the last states to hold their share of primaries on June 4, according to reports.

RNC and DNC Conventions dates: Declaration of Biden and Trump as nominees

The Republican National Committee will be hosting its convention from July 15 to July 18 in Wisconsin and formally choosing its presidential nominee, preferably former President Donald Trump.

On the other hand, the Democratic National Committee will host their convention in Chicago where they will preferably nominate current US President Joe Biden as their presidential candidate.

Subsequently, the first Presidential debate is slotted for September 16 at Texas State University in San Marco, says USA Today. The report also suggests that the second Presidential debate will be held on October 1 at Virginia State University in Petersburg, which is politically a very strategic location, in proximity to Washington and the White House.

November 5, 2024, will be the election day in the US while the votes will be counted and the upcoming President will be declared on January 6.
