is here. Samsung has expanded its Galaxy smartphone lineup with the launch of Galaxy C55 in China. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and it houses a 50MP front camera. Samsung Galaxy C55 comes in two colour options and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery.

Galaxy C55 comes with a starting price tag of 1999 yuan (Rs 23,010).

The smartphone can be purchased in orange and black colour options. The rear panel of the smartphone is made of vegan leather. The smartphone will go on sale in the region starting next week. The smartphone maker has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of Samsung Galaxy C55.

Samsung Galaxy C55 specifications

Samsung Galaxy C55 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The Super AMOLED display offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness levels.

Samsung Galaxy C55 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The mid-range smartphone packs 256GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy C55 runs Android 14 operating system topped with the company's own layer of One UI on top. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP depth sensor. The front is home to a 50MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy C55 comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
