A boy's wholesome gesture for his mother on her birthday while flying aboard an Air India Express flight is winning hearts on the internet. Shared on Instagram by crew member Afzal Khan, the clip showed the boy requesting the crew to wish his mother a very happy birthday. He wanted to surprise her and the cabin crew didn't let him down.

In the video, Khan was seen announcing a sweet birthday message for Jitheesh Bijumon on the request of her son. "This boy comes up to me and says it's his mom's birthday and wants to give her a surprise. And we made the whole flight clap for his mom's birthday," read the text in the clip.

The cabin crew also gave a special treat to the woman with a handwritten note as several passengers clapped for her. "And we made someone's day more special," read the caption of the post.

The video has amassed close to one lakh views since being shared online. Social media users were quite moved by the boy's gesture and showered their love in the comments section.

"That's so kind and thoughtful," one user wrote. Another user commented, "Such a sweet gesture."

A third user remarked, "This boy's love for his mother is wholesome."

"This video made my day," a fourth user added.

Meanwhile, a post talking about the kindness and empathy shown by SpiceJet cabin crew members also won the internet. Virendra Malhotra, Vice President for Flight Operations, shared a post on LinkedIn in which he wrote about how passengers and cabin crew members came together to help an elderly woman.

The 72-year-old woman had defecated on the aisle multiple times. However, cabin crew members Akshay and Sreega cleaned the mess, helped the woman clean up and even arranged fresh clothes and an adult diaper for her.
