The French army is seeing fewer recruits amid fears of being sent to Ukraine, TASS reported, quoting Russian envoy to France Alexey Meshkov as saying. "French society takes such statements seriously and openly says that this is another step towards World War III," said Meshkov. The diplomat added that no one in France "wants a World War III to happen, including the country's leadership". Meshkov also said that EU countries are not so enthusiastic about issuing defence bonds to boost European military-industrial complex capacities. Watch the video to know more.
